I guess with the boys going back to school that means summer is over. :(
Travis is a sophomore in high school this year and that is just weird for me to think he is that old. He got his learners permit on Aug 14. That makes me feel really old LOL !!! So far so good he still dosen't care to drive other then the back roads so I am ok with that. He will be 16 in Feb so we have a while to get use to things. Trav and some friends are going to get in a prep league for basketball. I can't wait I have really missed watching him play. That will tide me over until the high school season starts.
Justin is in 7th grade this year. I think this is going to be a much better year for him then last. 6th grade was such a hard transition from elementary school. So far (only a week into the year) he loves his classes and even loves math. He gets up in the mornings with no issues. Huge improvement over last year. All Justin wants to do in his spare time is fish so him and Tony go every weekend. I love that they have that in common and enjoy going together.
I decided that I needed to do something for myself. I have started going to the gym again. It feels great. Its already been a year since my last back surgery. I really need to get in shape so I don't have to have it fused anytime soon. Not a surgery I ever care to have but know it may be a must do down the road. I hope it helps with my arthritis flares too with Fall & winter coming up. I am taking it slow but already I am feeling and seeing that it helps. I am writing this down so on the days I can't find the motivation to go I can read this and hope it helps me go. So far I haven't felt that way about it.
